Fire Chief Kevin Coleman has dedicated his life to public safety and emergency response. He began his journey as a volunteer firefighter with Caddo Fire 4 from 1987 to 1993, where he laid the foundation for a career driven by service and commitment. In 1993, Chief Coleman transitioned to a paid firefighter position, showcasing his skills and dedication to the community.

Throughout his career, Chief Coleman has continually advanced his expertise, becoming an EMT in 1992 and earning his Paramedic certification in 1997. He became an EMS instructor in 1999, sharing his knowledge with aspiring professionals. His leadership qualities led him to the rank of Captain around 1999 or 2000, where he further honed his skills in managing personnel and dealing with the public effectively.

Chief Coleman holds multiple certifications, including Firefighter 1 and 2, Fire Instructor 1 and 2, Fire Officer, and has completed all ICS classes. His extensive training in risk management and personnel management underscores his commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of his team.
